Foundation Founders

The SOLIDARNA founders/members are its most valuable asset, as they offer their ideas, social contacts and commitment to the development of SOLIDARNA as a new source of support for the autonomy of human rights activities in the community. They are a diverse group of activists, political analysts, scientists, and artists, as well as six experienced civil society organisations, with the aim of supporting the organisational growth of SOLIDARNA. The Statute provides that these organisations, as foundation members, shall not have preferential treatment when financial aid is granted, nor can they be part of SOLIDARNA’s governing bodies if they are applying for its support.

Great importance is placed on transparency of the work and management of SOLIDARNA, as well as on gaining the trust of citizens, companies and the public supporting our work. Therefore, at the very beginning of our operation in 2016, we developed and adopted the Rules on the management of the conflict of interests which set out the obligation to declare actual, potential, and perceived conflicts of interest, as well as the management procedure in such cases.
