Based on Art. 26 and 27 of the Foundations Act and Art. 25 and 26 of the Statute of Solidarna - the Foundation for Human Rights and Solidarity, the Foundation Administration announces:
CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
for the appointment of the DIRECTOR of the SOLIDARNA Foundation
The manager is appointed for four years.
The principal’s key responsibilities are:
• Providing strategic leadership to achieve the Foundation’s mission and vision.
• Supervision of day-to-day operations, financial management and compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
• Leading fundraising activities, including writing project proposals, developing and maintaining relationships with donors and partners.
• Cooperation with the Foundation Administration in the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic plans.
• Representing the organization in public, increasing visibility and engagement of the community.
• Support and inspiration for employees, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
Candidates must meet the following mandatory conditions:
• completed university diploma or university integrated study or equivalent work experience in the Foundation’s field of work,
• at least three years of work experience in managing teams,
• experience in managing international projects,
• knowledge of working with a computer at least at the level of an independent user of MS Office suite programs,
• knowledge of spoken and written English at least at C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Preference is given to candidates who meet the following conditions:
• have experience in managing non-profit organizations,
• have acquired additional education for the management of non-profit organizations,
• can demonstrate success in securing funds from public and private donors,
• have experience in philanthropic fundraising,
• have developed competencies for creating and analyzing financial plans, budgets and reports.
• have developed communication and presentation skills,
• have a passion for creating change in society based on the values of human rights.
• they know the work of the Foundation well.
Along with the written application, candidates are required to attach:
• resume,
• proof of an acquired academic degree or equivalent work experience in the Foundation's field of work,
• Motivation letter,
• Vision of the work and development of the Foundation, which contains a management plan and concrete measures for achieving programmatic and organizational development. The Foundation's work program for the period 2024-2027. it is available at this link.
A person who submits a timely and complete application with all attachments and who meets the mandatory conditions of the competition will be considered a candidate for the competition.
Candidates who meet the conditions of the competition may be invited for an interview and/or testing.
The initial Gross I salary for the mentioned position is EUR 2,565.19 + compensation for transportation and a hot meal and other allowances in accordance with the Labor Law and the Foundation's Rules of Procedure.
