Humanitarian event of the SOLIDARNA Foundation: A Slightly Different Wine Workshop

What does freedom in intimate relationships mean? When are we free to leave and when are we free to stay? How do we define freedom in ourselves, and freedom with others? Can we recognize its vibration, taste, and smell? If these questions intrigue you, and you are a fan of more casual workshops and quality wines – join us for a slightly different wine workshop organized by the SOLIDARNA Foundation.

A Slightly Different Wine Workshop will be held on Sunday, April 14, at the Botaničar cafe bar, starting at 7 p.m., where you can expect an interactive workshop on sexuality, a guided tasting of three Belaj Castle wines, snacks (so that we don’t go through all these difficult topics on an empty stomach) and good fun with LELO gifts.

Lada Radin from the wine collective “Čašne sestre” will guide you through the enjoyment of top wines from the “Dvorac Belay” winery, and the subject of freedom in partner relationships and sexuality will be spoken by Assoc. Ph.D. Tanja Jurin, professor of psychology and sex therapist. This super duo has opened various topics: from desire, pleasure, touch, boundaries, and imagination, and on Sunday we will talk with Lada and Tanja about freedom and all its aspects, and of course all the colors and flavors of wine.

“In this workshop, we will try to talk about the fantastic wines of the Belay winery, which make the evenings of open conversations even more open, to get into the issues of freedom in personal, intimate, and sexual relationships. All the workshops held so far confirm the fact that it is really necessary to create a public space for a public, honest, but also professional conversation about sex, about intimacy, about relationships, about topics that bother us all. It’s much easier with a glass of good Istrian wine, so we’ll continue like that this time as well. We like to believe that we will enter various backwaters, peek under many carpets in a relaxed and open atmosphere”, says Lada Radin from the wine collective “Čašne sestre”.

It is important to point out that this wine workshop is humanitarian and all funds will be directed to help women and children who have survived violence, and are applying for help to the Women’s Fund of the SOLIDARNA Foundation. The Fund provides financial support to cover rent, living expenses, legal expenses, and psychotherapy expenses. Last year the Women’s Fund helped 91 women with 120 children on their way to a life without violence. Read more about the work of the Fund here.
