In November, we announced that the Fund for Women, through the Program for the Development of Civil Society of the Solidarna Foundation, will award 15 grants for Actions in the community and other activities in 2024 for a duration of 1 to 6 months in the amount of up to €2,170.00. In January, we closed the first round, after which civil society organizations, initiatives, artists, and activists continuously submitted their applications, and the Evaluation Committee met as appropriate.
Through Actions in the community and other activities, we currently support seven small projects/activities implemented by civil society organizations, CSOs in cooperation with artists, researchers, and independent initiatives. We are proud to announce that we support the Association Domino, Safe Places and researcher Dunja Bonacci, Vizura Aperta and artist Tanja Dabo, K-Zona and the initiative Zbeletron, the Lesbian Organization Rijeka – LORI and the independent initiative Citizens of Rijeka, the association Kombinat and the artist Nika Rukavina and the association Dominoes.
Through this support, a series of activities will be organized, from artistic performances and workshops to marches for the Eighth March to synthesize much-needed knowledge about gender-based violence.
As announced in November, we can support 15 different activities and/or projects in the amount of up to €2,170.00 and we invite you to register your initiative, project, activity, or performance as early as possible so that they can be implemented by July and before all funds have been spent!
