Applications are closed for the call for Actions in the community as part of the Women’s Fund of the SOLIDARNA Foundation. From November 2023 to April 2024, the Women’s Fund through the Program for the Development of Civil Society of the Solidarna Foundation awarded 15 grants for Actions in the community and other activities lasting from 1 to 6 months in the amount of up to €2,170.00.
The first round was closed in January, after which civil society organizations, initiatives, artists, and activists continuously submitted their applications, which were discussed by the Evaluation Committee which decided on the allocation of grants until the funds were used up.
Meet the grant winners
Through Actions in the community and other activities, we support 15 small projects/activities implemented by civil society organizations and CSOs in cooperation with artists, researchers, and independent initiatives. We are proud to announce that we support the Association Domino, Safe Places and researcher Dunja Bonacci, Vizura Aperta and artist Tanja Dabo, K-Zona and the initiative Zbeletron, the Lesbian Organization Rijeka – LORI and the independent initiative Citizens of Rijeka, the association Kombinat and the artist Nika Rukavina, the association Domine, Center for Peace, Nonviolence and Human Rights – Osijek, Women’s Network of Croatia, SUB MOVEMENT, BLOK, Proces, Association Pariter and the initiative Feminist Tambura Front, Croatian Association of the Blind Association for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights SOFIA.
With grants awarded through Actions in the Community, the Women’s Fund aimed to support several diverse activities in the community in accordance with the call’s program priorities. Individuals, informal collectives, initiatives, and CSOs who could prove previous work on topics related to gender equality could apply for the invitation.
